New Evening Vinyasa Yoga Classes with Jeffrey Lang ...
Tuesdays - 7:45-9pm, starting April 6th
Thursdays - 7:45-9pm, starting April 15th
Jeff’s Vinyasa classes focus on developing the body from the inside out. Establishing the integrative connection to our core through Mula Bandha, Uddihyana Bandha, and Jalandhara Bandha, we set up the energetic connection to unfold the rest of our bodies safely and precisely. Through a deep connection to our breath within each movement the physiological benefits of less stress, better digestion, and clearer focus will occur.
Jeff’s extensive anatomical training will bring you deeper and more fully into your bodies. Scaffolding, by working particular body areas through an increasing range of motion, will break down the more advanced postures into easily accessible parts. This will also provide for safety and treatment of injured areas by showing lesser pieces, or modified postures.
Philosophically and spiritually, the class will weave a non-dogmatic way into increased self-awareness - physically, mentally, and emotionally - resulting in a more dynamic understanding of the intricacies of our selves. Yoga techniques such as mantra, pranayama, and kriya, will be interfused with simple awareness practices to wholly encapsulate and experience who we are, and empower what we are capable of.
Jeff is a certified Yoga Tune-Up® instructor who began studying with Jill Miller in 2008.
