New Year Detox and Rejuvenation with Janya Wongsopa

Janya will guide you through a gentle practice beginning with fluid movements to reduce physical excess. Breath work (Pranayama) will cleanse sinuses and lungs and increase the flow of Prana or vital life force. Sound Yoga or Nada will clear the energetic body and tune the mind into silence and stillness.
The body and mind are then ready for the last part of the practice. Janya will utilize Yin and Restorative Yoga as well as Aroma Therapy to nourish the heart and build the nervous system. From the place of strength, clarity and compassion, we will create our intention, or Sankalpa, uniting our inner vision with our external life for a meaningful year.

About the Instructor: Janya is a Registered Yoga Teacher, Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Pancha Karma Specialist (Ayurvedic Therapy). She has been teaching yoga and offering Ayurvedic guidance since 2003.
Janya’s love for creating a supportive envirionment for the body and mind to relax into the present moment led to her specialization in gentle yoga. She teaches several types of physical yoga but always with the focus on an inner experience linking the bodymind to the heart and spirit.
